Emmett Furey is a writer and award-winning transmedia producer. His specialty is serialized drama, with a focus on television, graphic novels, and transmedia experiences with social media storytelling components. He’s also an instructor in the Screenwriting Department at the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles Campus. Recent speaking engagements include the B3 Biennale in Frankfurt, Germany, and the Conducttr conference in London, and guest lectures at VU University in Amsterdam and the Los Angeles campus of the New York Film Academy. He’s currently engaged in pioneering research into the evolution of narrative from a cognitive narratological perspective
